Biography

Orlanda Broom (United Kingdom) is known for vibrant floral landscapes and abstract paintings that evoke contrasting states of joy and unease, ripe and rot, old and new. Working intuitively, she employs a visual language that depicts the cycle of life of fertility and aging, in essence allowing the properties of the paint to lead the compositions and forms that emerge.
