Establishing a visual balance between opposing disciplines, 'Equilibrium' exhibits an array of HOFA' Gallery's most established artists alongside the newest additions to the gallery's artist roster and curatorial program. The exhibition aims to highlight the work of artist's working with experimental and innovative techniques alluding to their respective contemporary subject matter and artistic heritage. Their intention is to consciously stimulate the senses, challenge perspective, and establish a platform of ongoing dialogue between the artwork and the viewer through the amalgamation of seemingly disparate creative processes which converge to alter standardised canons in relation to traditional artistic practices.
Influenced by their social surroundings, environment and experiences, each artist emulates elusive imagery that enables us to discern according to our own interpretation; dictating our own state of equilibrium.
