British-born Max Patté is a multi-media contemporary artist based in the Balearic island of Mallorca, where he relocated from New Zealand in 2022. He studied at the Wimbledon School of Art in London (1997-2000) and was elected an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 2008.
ISLA is Max Patté's much-anticipated solo exhibition in London since 2016. Featuring his captivating Infinity Works, the showcase delves deeper into his relentless exploration of the essence of light, space, and colour. This time, he draws inspiration from the vibrant colour palette of the Mediterranean coastline. The exhibition is a tribute to the immersive experience of living on the sun-soaked Balearic island he now calls home. It's an ode to the profoundly sensorial journey of getting to know a place and its encompassing light, which is forever in flux.
Patté's first solo show in London since 2016. Showcasing his Infinity Works, he continues his unceasing exploration of the elemental nature of light, space, and colour, this time drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean coastline's colour palette. The show is an ode to the sensory journey that is life on the sun-drenched Balearic island he now calls home.
